I ventured to Elton Reservoir once again and got lucky with a few Brambling still around the feeders. Not the easiest of subjects, but as the light was good I have forgiven the unsightly branches and the feeder that one was sat on.
This very nice male perched nicely in the sunlight.
Lovely captures Adam, pretty bird
ReplyDelete...thanks for introducing me to Mr. Brambling, enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteHello Adam. It is a beautiful looking bird. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely bird! Some of them are so tricky. I find brown creepers really hard, as they are so fast! Good work.
ReplyDeleteAs I already said to Phil, the Brambling is a subject I have not been able to capture yet. Although it stops sometimes in my garden before continuing its migration to Lapland.
ReplyDeleteYour shots are great!

ReplyDeleteThank you for taking time to stop by I'd Rather B Birdin' & linking in.
The Brambling is a lovely bird. I like to see birds in their habitat, so the branch tangle just adds to my smiles. If I were ever lucky enough to be in the same vicinity as this beauty, I’d know where to look . (Though the feeder would be easier and more my speed).
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little critter! I'd love to have some in my yard!

Often bird's camouflage. But this bird’s flowery orange/red feathers add a nice bit of color to the mossy green tangle of branches.
