Redesmere
With not a lot going on in my usual birding places, I popped over to Redesmere once again. Only things on note really were a couple of Goosander at the far side. They were too far away for my lens, but they are a lovely bird to see.
I made do with some birds that came closer to me.
Thanks Heather. Yes it is my picture. I was very fortunate that it came and flew right in front of the hide at Inner Marsh Farm, just as I was packing up for the day too.
I love Coots ... they are so funny to watch and cute like little wind up toys. But, your Tufted Duck is amazing ... I love the intensity of the eyes. I don't think I have seen one before, so this was a real treat. Thanks for your "make do" photos. I wish I could make do so well ... :)
