These Redshank were sheltering on the rocks at West Kirby. They were getting battered all over the place by the wind coming in off the sea.
This guy didn't see the wave coming.
Whoops! There it is.
When do you think this winds going to stop then?
Huddled and hunched together into the wind.
Fabulous images Adam!ReplyDelete

Pretty!! I love watching the birds along the shore and on the jetties. Sometimes they seem oblivious to the action of the waves. And enjoy it. Great photos.ReplyDelete

The wind finally stopped for us Adam. It was very bad for a week or more but nonetheless your pictures of Redshanks are remarkably good considering the wind and Redshanks' propensity for being hard to approach.ReplyDelete
you have photographed the Redshanks in a very beautiful way:-)
