I spent most of my life on the west coast of Canada and have long loved seeing gulls. I always wanted to see a baby seagull, but they nest on inconspicuous hunks of rock in hard-to-reach places. Some years after I had moved away from White Rock, British Columbia, a wonderful thing happened...a gull nested in the eaves of the old train station, now an art gallery, and a friend told me about it immediately. Warmed my heart to think of it, but broke my heart that I wasn't there to see it!
Kay
An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous TravelsKay L.
